Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) Overview
Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE) Overview

The ISEE is a standard assessment of skills for each applicant, ranking his or her reasoning and achievement skills among students in the same grade. It enables students to take a single, fair, and reliable test for entrance into top-performing independent schools. Chadwick School requires all applicants applying to Grade 5 and up to take the ISEE.

The ISEE test will be offered at Chadwick on Saturday, November 16, 2019 and Saturday, January 11, 2020. Please register at least 3 weeks before anticipated test date. Space is limited.

Applicants may also take the test at another campus or at a prometric center. Prometric sites offer online administration and are available only for students entering grades 5-12. For a list of prometric sites visit: https://www.erblearn.org/sites/default/files/images/services/ISEE/ISEE-Prometric-Locations.pdf

Students may register to take the ISEE up to three times in a 12-month admission cycle, once in any or all of three testing seasons. The seasons are Fall (August–November), Winter (December–March), and Spring/Summer (April–July).
